| SEVAS-The Essence is Frequency |

As we are aware Sri Babaji has asked all of us to perform 3 sevas per month. Sevas are selfless acts. We know all of you and we know that most of you are likely to perform 3 selfless acts per day! Sevas are often done anonymously. However, anonymity is certainly not a requirement. The key is to do something self-lessly.... from our heart. It is perfectly fine if the other person(s) know who you are. After all, doing something in a loving, self-less way for your mother, your child, your dear friend certainly is not only appropriate, but a won-derfully uplifting experience. Sometimes these are "little" things that we do .... preparing a meal with loving care for another, giving a sincere compli-ment to an old friend.... there is no "degree of magnitude" with sevas! It is the spirit with which an act is performed. It is the frequency generated! I recall Wayne Dyer talking a few years ago about how others, just by simply knowing of a beautiful, selfless act experience the same frequency as the persons performing and receiving the act! This is SO powerful! The idea of remaining anonymous has to do with the purpose of the sevas. Is it a person’s desire to do the act in a true selfless manner? or does one feel like he/she should be given "credit" or recognition for doing something? Well, as all of you are aware, the difference lies within your heart, yes? And as all of us can attest, when we perform any act out of pure Love, pure Joy, and in service..... the feeling we receive.... the frequency! ..... is of great connectedness to the One! There is a tangible Frequency of Generosity (as St Germaine has recently pointed out), a Frequency of Service which radiates around the sevas. It is truly a remarkable experience that is so basic in our nature, so uplifting, that we find ourselves looking for more opportunities! |
